On Monday, 26.06.06 Mr. Abdoul-Marouf Issa Gobitaka from Togo has been unlawfully arrested in ironworks city. He has made an asylum application at the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, but was then arrested. An arrest warrant from a judge was not available. That did Mr. Wolf, a clerk of the immigration authorities Havel Country / Rathenow not prevent them from exceeding its powers and unlawful to cause the arrest by fax.
When habeas corpus on Friday, 30/06/06, the judge of the district court ironworks town, Mr. Miller has indeed seen that the arrest is illegal, yet he has ordered three months in prison. His reasoning was that Mr. Abdoul-Marouf Issa Gobitaka would disappear, because he was of no fixed abode. But this is still registered with the police in the asylum center in Rathenow and the address of his fiancée (Ms. Marion Müller) is known by all authorities.
Due to a mental illness, and hepatitis C, the detention of Mr. Abdoul-Marouf Issa Gobitaka is a special cruelty. To psychological therapy, he was recently seven weeks in psychiatry at the Charité in Berlin. These facts were presented to the judge, Mr. Miller at the habeas corpus before, were for him, however, irrelevant and he relied only on a 3 month old certificate of a medical officer, which only certified fitness to travel.
So it was not unexpected that Mr. Abdoul-Marouf Issa Gobitaka had to be taken a few hours after his examination in the emergency room of a hospital after his complaints were ignored until times.

The UNHCR recommends following the recent developments in 2005 to a nationwide deportation to Togo because the regime has once again proven its unpredictability and arbitrariness against his critics to prove. All independent human rights organizations underline the fact that the regime does not distinguish between the recognition of the respective persons. In particular, people who are not in the public eye, the supporters of the regime have the opportunity to perpetrate massive repression with impunity. The government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which initially locked to these findings, has recognized this risk and subject to deportation to Togo.
